Many people don't realize that pet waste that is left on the ground can get washed into storm drains, which lead directly to our streams and rivers. Pet waste contains bacteria and parasitic organisms that, when washed into local waterways, can contaminate streams and rivers. Pledge to do your part to help keep our local waterways clean and healthy by scooping the poop!

City residents who pledge to pick up after their pooch will receive a small recognition package that includes a bandana for your pet and a pet waste bag holder for your leash. Send us a photo of your pet in their bandana and we will feature it on our website!
