Cesar Chavez Community Celebration

Thursday, April 3, 6:30 pm, Agnes Stewart Middle School, 900 S. 32nd Join in the celebration of the inspirational Cesar Chavez who devoted his life to workers' rights and social change.  There will be entertainment, refreshments and displays. For all ages. Sponsored by SAfER, Springfield Alliance for Equality and Respect.

Featuring Juggler Extraordinaire Charlie Brown, Springfield High School Jazz Ensemble, Old-Time Musicians, Clifford the Big Red Dog, Pig from If You Give a Pig a Pancake, and “Tied in Knots” Balloon Twisting Fun! Saturday, April 12, 1:00 A hilarious multi-talented performer, Charlie Brown delivers a special blend of absurd comedy and technical feats that will create a memorable experience for all ages. Join us for the kick-off of the Library’s Centennial Celebration Day. In the City Hall Lobby.

Tuesday, April 15, 7:00-7:30 pm Little bed bugs are invited to come in their pajamas for a special evening story time, presented by our storytime staff.  In the Children’s Story Corner and for all ages.

Saturday, April 19, 12:00-1:00 Join Pattiebuff for stories, songs and a craft perfect for spring. All ages welcome. Children age 5 and younger should come with an adult companion.
