These updated Springfield Council goals were unanimously approved on July 19. Signs listing the goals are posted in meeting rooms throughout City Hall.

As part of the City’s 125th anniversary celebration, a signature welcome sculpture was dedicated at the city’s entryway from Glenwood, in Downtown Springfield on Friday, May 14. The sculpture was created by Oregon artist Devin Laurence Field and reflects the city’s connection to the McKenzie and Willamette rivers along with its drift boat history.

As the Mayor of the City of Springfield, and on behalf of its citizens, it is my pleasure to welcome you to the City of Springfield web site.

The City of Springfield municipal agency offers a wide variety of services to the local community as well as ongoing intergovernmental cooperation with our regional partners. The City operates on a council form of government, with a Mayor and six councilors, all volunteer positions.

In Springfield, we are proud of our reputation for friendliness and hospitality. Again, welcome to the City of Springfield!
