The applicant is proposing to amend the Metro Plan diagram from
Campus Industrial (CI) to Commercial/Nodal Development Area
(NDA), Community Commercial (CC) and Medium Density Residential
(MDR)/NDR; and to amend the Springfield Zoning Map from CI to
CC, Mixed Use Commercial (MUC) and MDR. These applications are
the first steps towards implementing a comprehensive new development
plan for the 100.3 acre site.
