Medical Choice of Pacific Source HIP, PPO or HMO (Employee pays a portion of the premium)
Health Reimbursement Account HIP participants have an HRA account set up for Medically necessary expenses.
Dental Oregon Dental Service (ODS) (Employee pays a portion of the premium)
Vision Part of Pacific Source Medical Plans
Basic Life Insurance 1 x Annual Salary up to $100,000 maximum
AD/D Insurance 1 x Annual Salary up to $100,000 maximum
Long Term Disability Provided by Fortis Insurance Company. Coverage for full time general service employees and active members of the City Retirement Plan.
Retirement Oregon Public Employee's Retirement System (PERS) (Employee pays 6% of salary after 6 month waiting period)
Employee Assistance Program DIRECTION - 6 free visits per problem per year. Available to all members of employee's household
Holidays Ten (10) Regular Scheduled Holidays plus one (1) floating Holiday (prorated for partial months)
Vacation
  • Beginning accrual 8.00 hours monthly 1-3 Years
  • 4-8 years 9.33 hours monthly
  • 9-13 years 10.67 hours monthly
  • 14-18 years 12.67 hours montly
  • 19+ years 13.33 + .67 for each year beyone 19.
  • Management/Supervisory accrue 10 hours monthly
  • Available after six (6) months of employment
  • Available month following accrual
  • Maximum accrual 500.0 hours
  • Pay-out at termination if employed for six months or more limited to 80 hours more than one year's accrual
    Part-time employees accrue based upon hours worked in month

These vacation benefits do not apply to executive staff (Department Directors, City Manager, Assistant City Manager).

Sick Leave
  • Accrue 8.0 hours monthly
  • Available month following accrual
  • Prorated for partial months
  • Maximum accrual 960.0 hours
  • Maximum payout at Retirement only is 480 hours

Part-time employees accrue based upon hours worked in month
