All of Springfield's Housing Programs are available to income-eligible households only. Very Low-Income households earn less than 50% of the area median income as determined by HUD. Other Low-Income (sometimes referred to as Moderate Income) households earn less than 80% of the area median income. The table below shows the maximum allowable household income by household size. The amounts reflect the total annual income for the household. Different housing programs have different income requirements:
